Professional Experience
Finance Intern at PDS Health
Summer 2025
At PDS Health, I supported corporate finance initiatives by helping budgeting transformation, financial analysis, and data validation to ensure accuracy in strategic reporting. I worked closely with the finance team to help transition budgeting models from Excel to Anaplan, improving both scalability and long-term efficiency. As part of a broader enterprise-wide effort, I helped align financial forecasts with operational performance data to support more accurate and dynamic budgeting. I also used Power BI to build dashboards and visualizations, making budgeting trends and key financial insights easier to interpret. On the side, with another intern, I conducted a deep-dive analysis into rising clinical costs and developed strategic recommendations that were ultimately presented to the C-Suite.
Marketing and Pricing Intern at Coast Sign
Summer 2024
In my time at Coast Sign Inc., I worked across both the Art and Engineering departments, handling design and production prep from start to finish. In the Art Department, I created polished, client-facing Brand Books using CorelDRAW and Photoshop, carefully aligning visual design with project specs. Each book included accurate color matching, textile references, and finalized design elements to support client pitches. On the Engineering side, I reviewed design files, scaled them precisely in CorelDRAW, and converted them into detailed technical drawings. I then uploaded the final versions into Sage ERP for internal review and production approval. I also used ERP data to break down production costs and built custom Excel pricing sheets for each project to support budgeting and planning.
Data Analyst at Menlo Micro
Summer 2023
As a Marketing Intern at Menlo Micro during Summer 2023, I had the opportunity to work at an innovative startup, which gave me hands-on exposure to fast-paced, high-impact projects. I was brought on to analyze market data and strengthen the company’s competitive positioning while also producing creative content for social media and trade shows. Working in a startup, I got to wear a lot of hats, from video production to data analysis. I helped transform the company’s content strategy by creating product highlight videos that were later showcased at the International Microwave Symposium (IMS). I also contributed to a 20% boost in LinkedIn engagement through visual storytelling and analyzed webinar performance, presenting my recommendations directly to the C-Suite to increase viewer retention and interaction. The experience gave me a front-row seat to the inner workings of a growing tech company and challenged me to think creatively and move fast.
Marketing Assistant at SDSU Office of Housing
Fall 2022-Spring 2023
As a Marketing Assistant for the SDSU Office of Housing, I supported the team in promoting the brand image and positive aspects of on-campus living to prospective and incoming students. My role centered on creating original, engaging content that captured the full experience of SDSU Housing. Using Adobe software, I developed and managed content for the @sdsu_housing Instagram account, helping to shape the visual identity of the brand. I attended events and visited locations across campus daily to shoot photos and videos that reflected the vibrant and welcoming community of SDSU Housing. I also responded to hundreds of questions from parents and students through direct messages and comments, ensuring clear, helpful communication. This experience strengthened my content creation skills and taught me how to manage social engagement in a way that’s both informative and on-brand.
LEADERSHIP
Cameron S Photography and Digital Media
August 2014–Present
Over the past ten years, photography has been one of the biggest influences in my life. What started as a creative outlet quickly grew into a deep passion and, eventually, a business. Founding my freelance photography company allowed me to turn that passion into something real. I was able to blend my creativity with analytical strategy. Whether I’m capturing action sports or designing content for a restaurant, I’m constantly balancing the artistic side of visual storytelling with the analytical side of running a business. I’ve worked with hundreds of clients, managed timelines, handled marketing through social media and my website cameronsphoto.com, and even built an online store that’s generated thousands in print sales.
Photography has taught me how to see things from different perspectives, stay curious, and push boundaries creatively, while also sharpening my eye for detail, problem-solving, and data-driven thinking. These skills are vital to me and I try to carry into every project I take on.
Night Access Team Member
Winter 2025-Present
I am responsible for the coordination of the weekly "Firehouse College Thursday" event, managing all logistical and operational elements from planning through execution. This includes securing and contracting DJs, overseeing bottle service arrangements, organizing ticket distribution for party bus attendees, and liaising directly with the restaurant’s management team to ensure seamless event delivery. I also manage on-site setup and day-of coordination to guarantee a high-quality guest experience.
In addition to my weekly event work, I have served as part of the team for the Into the Horizon Festival for the past two years. My contributions have included assisting with large-scale event setup, collaborating with the media team on professional photography coverage, and, in 2024, performing as a DJ for the festival’s live entertainment lineup!
Historian at Tau Kappa Epsilon
December 2022-December 2023
I used digital media and photography to elevate our chapter’s presence and connect more deeply with both current members and alumni. By creating consistent, engaging content across our social platforms, I helped grow active membership by 80 and drove a 40 percent increase in alumni participation and donations. I also managed chapter updates and outreach, using storytelling and visual content to highlight our achievements and foster a stronger sense of community across generations. This experience showed me how powerful creative media can be in driving real engagement and results.
